Draythix
True Form: Light and Flame Dragon Spirit
Material Form: Male Solar Dragon
Known Traits and Abilities: Transformation, Flameshifting, Flame Manipulation, Symbiotic, Possession, Merging, Light and Flame Absorption

Draythix is a primal spirit of light and fire who takes the form of a colossal dragon. Much of his history is unknown, and efforts to determine his age have been inconclusive.Though powerful, he has severe limits when he is in the material world due to the lack of solar energy on habitable planets. He can only manifest himself for long periods of time by merging with a physical host. So far all of his hosts have been willing aside from the occasional opponent that he possesses in order to non-lethally subdue them. He seems to have a dislike of forcefully possessing people, possibly because he can feel his host's emotions.

Draythix's main identifying feature is the light and fire that emanates from his back. This is from his spirit breaking loose from his physical form, rather than true fire. These flames are usually safe to touch, and feel pleasantly warm. However, they can become dangerous for his enemies when he's angry. He often tries to keep his spirit flames hidden, but they can manifest in response to his emotions or when he is using his powers. Generally speaking, the more power he is using or the more emotional he is, the more intense the light and flames become.

If you see him in an anthropomorphic form, this means he is almost certainly merged with a host, though he can transform his host into a full dragon as well. His current host, a human named Darion, has been merged with Draythix for so long that the two of them have become nearly indistinguishable. At this point, it is hard for even them say who is in control, though neither of them particularly care since their objectives are usually the same.

Even when he isn't merged with a host, Draythix's personality is unusually human-like for a dragon. It is hard to tell whether he has always been this way or if this is a side effect from being merged with a human for so long. There are rumors that he used to be much more prone to anger, but for the time being he is unusually calm for a dragon.

In addition to transforming his host, Draythix can transform others by splitting off parts of himself. These 'clones' look similar to his spirit dragon form, but are much smaller and less powerful. These spirit clones can engulf mortals and transform them into various types of dragons which all look similar to the 'true' Draythix. Though the clones can attempt to control their hosts, they usually only do so if the host is a threat to others. These transformations are temporary and have no known long term side effects. It is unknown whether these clones are separate entities, or if they are directly linked to Draythix's mind.
