LEMURS aren't creepy- The animal she drew was actually a Tarsier. xD People get them confused ALL THE TIME. But, yeah, Tarsiers are really creepy! @_@

no, the teacher had some photos we could use. Unfortunately I'm too pressed for time for a zoo visit. But once this quarter is over, I plan on redoing all the photo reffed sketches with zoo studies for my flat portfolio.

ah, gotcha! yeah, when i had to do animal drawings for my flat book, i used ones i did at the academy of natural sciences. and it was only like... 5 animal drawings

ugh! well, that's not too bad... but still, that is a lot of work. i had four pages of people, but just one of animals... they were more worried about quality over quantity after a certain point
