Just a little something the team worked on for a new comic ark over at Sonic Comic OnlinePencils:

*Edit: My brother got hyped when I showed him and was like "NO WAY, THEY'RE DOING SONIC ADVENTURE 2 IN THE COMICS?" and then I was like, no this is just a fan thing and he responds with, "oh, cool I guess." Β The happiness left his eyes immediately.

Hey, this is actually a pretty solid cover! Just goes to show that three artists are better than one. It's a nice composition, and Sonar15 does a good job of capturing the look of the hedgehogs and doctors, especially the latter's head structure. Major props to your choice of colours and reflected green light from the Chaos Emerald. Unfortunately, Maria isn't drawn that well. Her face is too flat and she's got this unnerving bug-eyed look about her. If Sonar15 is drawing Maria again for this comic, it's something she needs to work on.
BTW, why would your brother get hyped about a SA2 adaptation in the comics? Archie did that already.

This is pretty sweet.
As funny as how popular Sonic Adventure 2 was and is in the fandom(overhyped), it got like little coverage in the comics back when it first came out besides #98. Instead we got to deal with... Chaos Knuckles, multi verse warping, and a magic sword. XD

I know! I've been ghosting Glitcher's page for ages and I get so excited when I see his comments on people's stuff because I agree with him almost 100% of the time, he's like the voice of the people XD So to see that he liked this cover was such a huge honor!

I feel like Gerald's and Eggman's heads look a little weird, and Sonic and Shadow could be bigger. Cool artwork, though.

I'll say it again, this looks fantastic! You all did a terrific job making this cover come to life in your own ways. It really captures the spirit of the original game, and I'm sure the actual story will too.

Thanks man, it was actually a lot of fun to color this, since I rarely ever get the chance to draw official characters XD I've never really done too much cover art so this was a little bit difficult, ie. trying to make it not just look like a comic book page.
