i'm still trying to gather up some older pics i never printed so i can fill up a few frames around the house......here's a b&w version of an older pic from venice (original=[link] ).

i'm glad. it might have been one of the first longer exposure shots with my first cheap-o tripod. walking about venice is akin to a mouse zooming around in a maze....it took forever to get back to the hotel, and, like nearly all cities, there are some lousy areas that tourists end up wandering into (with camera gear all too visible) after midnight following hours of meandering about shooting fotos....made it back safe and sound, however.
