Well my copy of Quark finally arrived and I loaned it to my roomie first to read I'm only now starting to read it, and he has to say that he really enjoyed it but he had one complaint the main protagonist went down a bit to easily he thought.

Well about half way through and so far I have to say I am really enjoying it only spotted one spelling error when Cera made her oath she says Dual rather than Duel.

Well I have to say it's very easy to understand the characters well at least the male character he's got a lot in common with me in particular in love area I have to say. -.-;
The story does just flow very nicely with out feeling very rushed I like there solution to the ahem love slave issue don't want to give any spoilers there, and again I found when they mentioned what they were doing I pretty much thought just what they were thinking about if they were found out.
Given how much I am enjoying it I can't wait for the other novel I ordered by to you arrive so I can read that one as well. One of the facts I like is that you made the male character very... normal not like some retired ex-marine or some one who happened to study martial arts all his life on the side or such. He was a 40 some thing computer tech with a tire to start and when confronted with the fighting he reacted much like most people would when exposed to some thing like that.

Well having finally finished the book I have to say I really did enjoy it and look forward to reading Maps which has been sitting on my shelf for almost a week now. I don't have much to say other than to agree with my brother that yes the final boss as it were went down a bit easy but honestly they all can't be super tough and such.
All thou one thing I did enjoy was that my home town got mention Winnipeg and I loved his reaction to there "Harsh Winter" this is some thing I have joked with a number of times with people I know who visit us here during the winter, I mean it can be a blizzard out and I will think nothing of dressing up and walking the couple of blocks to the store during a blizzard just cause I'm craving some thing.

I read this yesterday too...I can be a voracious reader when I want to be.
This was a fun book to read. Thuria stole the book, she got everything she wanted!
