Yeah, i'm still trying to get my head around it. I know it's a cliché, but it takes a lot of practice haha

Ummm... i guess some hints i can think of now.. umm. When you first start your magical cloudy skyscape thing, i usually start with a gradient, going from one light colour you like to another, darker colour you like. So in this case, it was originally light pink -> dark blue. The light pink became orange and red, but the dark blue gives it some perspective and depth, from light to dark ^^ The original ideas don't always stay to the final outcome. Just go with what you like along the way

Another thing you might find useful is it start small with this kinda thing. Like, i found when i'd start a big picture, there'd be so much white on the screen, i'd always feel like i had to fill it up, and that'd mean i would lose detail and prettiness because i'm trying to fill up the space. So i'd suggest just starting with like.. 1024x800 kinda thing. And practice airbrushing things, like rocks, mushrooms, etc. Because any practice is good practice I found airbrushing REALLY hard to get my head around.

Oh! And don't be afraid to use references and tutorials I used to feel like using references was cheating, but it's not ^^ Don't be afraid to experiment Art is creativity, so do whatever you want And PLEASE don't get demoralised and feel stink when you make something that doesn't turn out the way you want. I've got into the habit of only uploading the pictures of mine that turn out well. But my computer has HEAPS of ones that epically failed hahaha i think i upload about 1 of every 8 pictures i start seriously. It's all a learning process ^^

Heck, my gallery's got stuff from way back when i was still playing around with drawing stuff. So feel free to skip through if you wanna And i should get around to making a tutorial of skyscape-y whatever-this-picture-is, just for you ^^ hahaha

i know watcha mean ^^ only every artist has heaps to learn even if they dont need to learn it ^^ (by tht i mean u cant be good at everything)
but u ur definately good already and u have little to learn in my opinion ^^
