Description
"One of the secrets of Windows 7 that is undocumented by Microsoft is the secret option known as God Mode.GodMode is simply a hidden control panel that contains everything about windows 7 configuration options and settings, all located in one place plus additional features that are not found in the ordinary Control Panel."
The trick to access the GodMode is simple, just follow these steps:
* Create a new folder
* Name the folder with the following name:
admin.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
* Once created, you should see the folder icon changed to the control panel icon.
> I made a little App that can make a God Mode folder on your desktop for you or add God Mode to your desktop context menu [link]

It's not really a 'GodMode' ... that's just what some blog thought it'd be funny to call it. By the way, you can substitute the word before the period for anything and that's what the shortcut will be called.

It's neither a secret nor available in Windows 7 only. It's just a link to a search in the control panel with all possible results ...

I found out about this on Youtube although by the time I saw a video, I had/have been using "Windows 7 in a Box" which is basically the same thing just as a stand alone app and categorized. ^.^
I've heard you can't actually copy/paste \"admin.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}\" but have to type it in manually for it to work...is there truth to this or can you?...because I cannot be bothered to do the typing. lol
