This is really something spectacular!!! I see so much art every day it's not often that a piece really stops me in my tracks. You can see genius lurking between the layers of paint. It is really a joy to see.

i first liked this because it was a fantastic painting of a rose, then i realized how creepy the rest of it is, and it's awesome

Wow! When I first saw this my mind exploded with ideas. Then
I realized that I had tried to say something like this myself, with
my own work. I can only be prejudice now with anything I say here
except that it is obviously well done and an important find for me

It seems this is glazing technique, yes? I've never used that many layers but I like the effect achieved. Do you find it is worth it to do so many layers?
