Description Nice little hike to this vantage point I must say. Just beautiful up there. Mt. Shasta was supposed to be the subject but it was completely covered in clouds so faced the opposite direction to see this amazing sunset taking place over Lake Shastina in the background there. Hope you enjoy and that everyone has a great weekend!

Beautiful!  I never got to hike near Shasta, but I spent plenty of time around and on Mt. Lassen.  


How does this not have more favorites!?

Hehe....ah the favs thing is fickle on here. You saw it and enjoyed it so that's what matters to me! Thank you very much for the kind words! I only got to spend about 3 hours in the Shasta area myself on my way up the Oregon coast. Its a breathtaking area as you know I am sure! The day I was there, whole mountain was shrouded in clouds. So I spun around and took these. LOL!

Oh I LOVE the Oregon Coast!  Right after high school, I took a road trip up to Washington state up the I-5, and from Washington I took the coast down.  I stopped at all the lighthouses.

Then you and I have stood in many of the same places. I didn't do them all...but got a bunch in. Oregon is an amazing place. Always pack the rain gear! Lol
