The most memorable encounter was when they went through a crater colonized by a horde of lizards as long as a ship . Diplodocus, had named them Urol, assuring that they were herbivores. Kyalani had gone further by spreading her knowledge about the harmlessness of vegetarian species, provoking a sour comment from Uthred that no one heard except Avner and a disillusioned pout from Alysin. As they walk across the crater, a young giant reptile, isolated from the herd, was then chased by a group of Terror Birds and they were caught in the middle of the chase, dodging the beaks and claws of the birds and the monstrous tail blows of the panicked young Diplodocus.
