so i was watching hetaoni, and heck i was so into it. it's intense and heartbreaking and als;jdf D: no words. then a slightly ooc romano appeared with an assault rifle as his weapon and a totally flashy boss of a move.had to get it out of my system, but then halfway through i realized i didn't know how to draw an assault rifle, let alone how to hold one ;-; i reffed one but still...s-sorry orz
and fff- the contest started today too. looks like i won't be getting much done this week.

The colors are so somber, but that's what makes it great. I love the shadowy pallet! Romano looks as though he's about to jump down and bust some knee caps. 
Romano needs to get his rifle pointing the right way, though. ^^

haha the somber palette's just the result of me playing around too much with saturation and light levels. i think it's too dark, now that i step back to look at it again :/ regardless, super happy that you can tell he's not exactly relaxed with gray deformed aliens roaming around |D thank you~

The darkness works. It really works. I'm entirely impressed by how well the range of values ended up seeing as how you limited your color choices with the saturation and light levels, etc.
And Romano is so not relaxed. He's ready to kick butt. Once he gets his military equipment the right way around. But he's an Italy. This is how they do things. ^^
