Ahahaha, yeah I'm somewhat of an oddball
I used to have 3 actually, a grammostola rosea, some hybrid brachypelma vagans x unfriendly bastard whose name I forgot but their 'lovebaby' was a beautyΒ and anΒ avicularia versicolor that I later gave away to a friend when his own died. So I'm not afraid of them, though they sometimes manage to startle me. Especially in autumn, when those big black house spiders are looking for a place to stay and suddenly run around in the kitchen where I am trying to get my first fix of caffeine.Β Β I don't like it that I have to find a large whisky glas and a postcardΒ to convince my unwanted guest to play outside before I've had my first coffee.Β Β Β Β Β That being said... I don't like anything unrequested to take place before I've had my first coffee...

Hahaha......you are right about those house spiders.
Not afraid of the big fellows but these house spiders can even scare me sometimes.
Not so long ago I had a male in my house that the biggest I ever did see.
Normally they are small compared to a female but this one was big.
I think it had a leg span of about 6 cm and this is big for a male house spider.
