Description
done in painter years ago. been extremely fascinated by vampires and the cult like mass appeal it had over people of all types. or maybe they just exude a sexiness we all aspire, hehehe. anyway, this piece needs more finishing touches but was left this way due to a workload that prohibited me to play around with original creations as much as i wanted to. Enjoy!

For halloween, A&E did a show about vampire myths and legends, and it seems that in western legends, they represent forbidden sexuality and the bestial overpowering side of it. Dracula was an alegory for lechery and rape, the oldest vampires were typically either female or the devil himself and portrayed a sense of things escaping their place and corrupting with the pleasures of the flesh. This is why vampiric slaves appear. Many modern authors use vampires to tackle promiscuity, homosexuality, the nightclub phenomenon and teenage sex. Whatever is most sexually taboo at the time is erotocized and lived out through vampires. It's a little creepy that we're obsessed with them, because they are the embodyment of out underlying obseession, so we are obsessed with obsession/

Original concept. Quite nice coloring, I spotted on the color displacements on the top part... I don't remember to have seen this effect before.
