My character's Jaime and Erick.Erick's being annoying...
that's all, but obviously by their closeness -- later in the story they get really comfortable with each other. That in itself is kinda silly because they constantly at each other's throats (or so erick wishes, he's a vampire) but at the same time they finishing each other's sentences and maybe sharing a bar of chocolate while they are screaming each other and handing it back and forth.
It's just silly. I take a serious story like vampire hunters and having tragedys going on and I twist it to something ridiculous.

Thanks! I have a about 6 or so pages of the comic drawn just not inked (I'm gonna leave it black and white)
and as for proportions I try and stress getting it right. I sometimes make them unnaturally tall or have the head a touch too big or too small,, etc.. etc.. But thank you for saying so!
