Description Yes, Virginia, according to an AF Urban Legend, a USAF C-141A Starlifter did once fly beneath the Golden Gate Bridge on on a beautiful day near sunset.

**Not to scale**

With green hills on both sides of them, and plenty of bridge and water clearance, the pilots had plenty of room on all four sides and concluded their pass uneventfully...much to the ire of the FAA and USAF!

I give it up to that pilot's airmanship skills. But if I were his CO - I'd tell him if he EVER pulled a stunt like that again, I would personally jack his junk up so friggan high he would have to unbutton his shirt to . I think that you would do the same.

Nice pic and story nonetheless.

From what I hear there is actually plenty of room. It's just not a kosher thing to do by any means!
