Description
These are the three base models I have available at the moment. Made out of resin, which makes them a bit stronger than the ones I make out of pure Super Sculpey.I'm posting my commission info in a little bit (check my journal) and I just wanted to post these so people would know what is available.
I can basically make any pony you want using these bases, whether it's official, or an OC. Prices start at $50, but may go up if you want clothes or accessories (For example, Maud Pie would be like $75 because her dress is hard to make)

These look awesome! Maybe you should make a mold for some of these.
Question though, is is wise to use Super Sculpey to make the whole model, as in, no use of resin or other materials. If it works, what kind of paint is best? Also, tools that come in handy? I just love your sculptures, so I figured if I got advice from anyone, it should be from the best.

These are made from molds lol. That's pretty much the only way to make something out of resin
The originals were made from super sculpey.
90% of my sculptures are made from 100% Super Sculpey by the way, so yes, it's perfectly fine to use it for the whole model.
I use acrylic paint.
I don't really use any tools other than my hands and an exacto knife.

Heheh, its just in the description I didn't see any mentioning of using a mold, and I'm a noob and want to try getting into making models.

Not really. I messed up the first one I made, but I got the hang of it pretty quick.
The tricky part is not accidentally ruining the mold when you are demolding for the first time.

That sounds promising. I really want to start a sculpture business (quite small, of course) and make resin duplicates of my good sculpts. Any tips good sir?Ā

I'm still new to it myself, so I don't know of any tips really. I guess I would suggest looking up tutorials on youtube, that's how I learned.
