one of the first DVDs i saw as a small person was the final fantasy spirits within movie, and i would rent it and watch it often from our library. then someone in town stole the library's copy, and i never saw it anywhere again, until i bought a copy of the movie at a used music store for $5. i was happy.i always called the phantoms mosquito monsters. which is kind of true, i guess. noodly mosquitoes.

The Phantoms had to be the most macabre enemies of any Final Fantasy series if you ask me.
I mean they were originally an innocent alien race who lost everything, their cities, their homeworld, even their very being! Restless ghosts of a wiped out race that only want to find a way to pass on into the afterlife.

Awesome! The Spirits Within is one of my all-time favorite CG sci-fi films, right up there with Avatar and Star Wars. I recently bought a copy in Honolulu for around $3. I couldn't believe I had found it!

I remember those things, though it's been along time since I've seen the movie. It randomly had nothing really to do with the actual Final Fantasy games, which was weird.
Regardless, nice job, I like the colors.
