Description
The front view of the TIE FANG Gunship with improved textures and some lighting changes. I think I'm done with it and I'm pleased with how it looks. The TIE FANG is not a TIE fighter but a long range gunship escort for Imperial craft. FANG stands for 'FULLY ARMORED NAVAL GUNSHIP'. It has heavy weaponry front and back and armor, but is somewhat vulnerable from the sides. The TIE style cockpit is actually much larger than those in TIE fighters and the FANG has a crew of 6 to 8, with crew quarters, a refresher, common area and room for a small cargo hold. There are no escape pods. Weaponry includes twin Ion cannons and heavy turbo lasers with a multitude of smaller lasers in front and back. It has a class 2 Hyperspace drive.
