Description On a back road near Quantico Marine base, we found this ancient iron truss bridge. What is even more amazing is the fact it was built in 1882 and is still in daily service. There are traffic signs on either side warning it is only for one vehicle at a time. I watched as many cars and light trucks took their turn. It has a wood deck and I *think* it was a narrow gauge railroad bridge when built.
