Another personal piece. I've been pretty burnt out on commissions so it was nice to take some time and do things for myself to keep motivated. This guy is a character I've never tried drawing before since I wasn't confident in my skills despite having him for a long time, but now that I've gotten a hang of things I gave it a go and love the result. It's nice to draw people again instead of just animals, especially my own characters.To him rain gives relief, calm, and heat. I feel the same way, so with all the rain we've been getting, I was inspired to draw my other special boy. Sometimes Shi gets all the attention since I'm so used to drawing him, but I love all my characters. A few just have a special place in my heart like those two

Thank you so much! And all it takes is a lot of practice and playing with your style before you can draw your babes the way you want ^^ I’ve been at this for 3 years and am just now happy with my style and ability to paint.
I know the feeling of people drawing characters a bit out of character, so it definitely is a bonus when you can do your own art so you can make them the way you want. Just keep at it!
