From an RP with Canasta and Mei.

Canasta never let her guard down once; even though her curiosity kept her from leaving, she still sensed she was in danger. At seeing the shine of the dagger, she darts under Mei, but not before the blade sliced through her cloak, leaving a long gash on her right forearm. She stumbles a bit, tripping on the cobblestone. "What are you?" Canasta asks, a slight hint of fear in her voice. She regains her footing, feeling both shocked by her own sudden fear, a new feeling to her, and in awe by how professionally Mei controls the dagger. Being a dagger wielder herself, she knows just how hard they can be in terms of control and hitting the right spot.

Mei is twisting away, expecting an attack in return, but with the fox having gone under her, this meant that now it was Canasta in the alley and Mei blocking the entrance, Right where she wanted to be. Mei's feet plant, using the inertia of her first attack to spin to face the fox in a moment. Playing dumb now was she? Stupid Question. Stupid fox. Stupid Suit. The assassin's lack of a weapon isn't questioned, she must be pretty confident. Stuipd Suit. And to think Mei had tried so hard to be Moe. THere was no point. There is a slight relish in that tange of blood and the fear-scent now coming from the fox, Mei's ears prick, a much more predatory look to her now. "Don't know~? Silly Suits~" Her tone is sarcastic and a mocking-sweet, "I'm a wolf, what else would I be, Honey?" Again with that smirk, and Mei is launching forward agian, her attack is toward the injured forearm, hoping that such a cut will slow the fox's reaction time and force her furthure back into the alley. Mei'd hate to be interupped with more Hearts when she seemed to have the upper hand with this one. Then again, maybe that would be bad. More red to paint their little street with?

//I know she was attacked by the dagger, not Mei's claws, but when I was drawing this, I forgot to add the dagger and then I couldn't figure out how to draw it properly... ;A; Also, I know this happened before the rain, but I thought it was a nice touch to add to maybe distract from the awful background. I'm still trying to work on those... ~w~"
