Seeing Qrow appear for this many episodes has been such an amazing experience. Honestly, I kinda knew I was going to end up liking him from the beginning, but I never thought he'd end up being my favorite. I think I'm biased, though, since I really liked his VA before he even appeared in RWBY.
His semblance reveal was so good, oh my gosh. Looking back, you can clearly see moments in the show that now have a deeper meaning, like how the bartender accidentally dropped a glass, or how he was so adamant on keeping team RNJR out of the fight between him and Tyrian. It's because of his ability to bring misfortune to those around him that causes him to distance himself away from the people he cares about. It kinda makes me wonder: does he blame himself for what happened to Summer?
Also, I was waiting for a song to be made about him, and I'm so glad that we finally got to hear it in Chapter 7. I think it really helps emphasize how he views himself as "A bad luck charm".
....I swear if he dies from the poison...

speaking of dying I undestand why Raven left tai and yang. IT ALL MAKES SENSE.
ravens semblance must be death. because ravens tend to hang around people who are going to die, or there is going to be a death of somebody they know or care about.
so by that logic. raven must of been in danger many times when she was pregnant with yang and knew that she was a danger to her child. so she thought tha by giving birth to her, leaving her and tai, and going by herself, she would prevent her from dying.
but another theory is, is that since yang is ravens child, yang is cursed to face death, like when she was 7, against neo, and against adam.
the reason why raven would only save her once, is because it makes it less likely for her to die when she keeps her distance.
but i guess she has a lack of attachment to her since she was barely there for her during the years.

this episode explained alot.
Why ruby was never told about her powers. Because if she couldn't use them, as most silver eyes can't, they didn't want her to feel inadequate.
I also have a pretty good idea who Ozpin and Salem are. Representatives of the gods left behind as guides.

Yeah, this episode was really needed to help tie a lot of things together, like what you mentioned about Ruby.
They probably also didn't tell her because she wouldn't be seen as much of a threat if she couldn't use her powers, but now that she showed she can, Qrow had to explain to her why they were after her.
Also, I really like the idea of Ozpin and Salem representing the two gods, since it's shown that Salem can control the Grimm, and that it's pretty much been implied that Ozpin was the wizard that gave the power to the maidens.
