A lovely portrait of Aerisis completed in about a month's time. Inspired by the wonderful and her prize she gave me for merely coming in 3rd place of her contest. I hope she has more contests soon.
Yes, this too was completed in metalic colored pencils. I've grown very attached to this style and medium, especially after going to a tiny art gallery in Lincoln, Nebraska called the Noyes (pronounced noise) Gallery. There, I saw this really awsome artist that made pictures out of aluminum, copper, and bronze (I think). I wish I could do that kind of stuff...

This is so beautiful! You're actually pretty good at this. I like how this has a metallic look to it, even though it's only pencils. The coloring is done very well and the shine looks so natural.
