Description *died from all details*

It's actually our first assignment from Environments, Props, and Structures class which I'm taking right now (because my works always lack of backgrounds...=__=" so it might be good if this class at least can bump my skills up a little...). After got it back, I played around with tones and stuffs and added a character in there (that's Louise! I haven't drawn him in ages though!)

Our professor took us wandering around downtown in Savannah, taking a bunch of references. And yes, some of SCADDY might recognize, but if not, this is a scene based off Jones Street.

D: The environment and props are based on actual references, but I redrew all of them by my own (and I won't tell you where I made mistakes on my perspective...lol, 'coz I'm lameeeee)

Done by 4B mechanical pencil, and adjusted it darker in Photoshop.

Gaaah I love Jones st. Forsyth and Jones = two of my fave places. Too bad the apartments there are all too expensive. 8(

But really its very lovely. Well done! I saw someone else doing this last week at Monty between classes. Looked like tones of work!

P.S I probably wouldn't have noticed the perspective thing had you not mentioned it. xD BUT IT STILL LOOKS GREAT!

very awesome...that background stuff is hard, congratulate you on that..small mistakes on angles can throw the whole picture off...so this is really good (especially since you draw people more)

Jones St! Your backgrounds always look beautiful to me. Isn't Savannah great for layout references? I'm in a character/layout design class for animation right now, and we have to choose a downtown location for our scene. I'm thinking St. John's Cathedral~.

the power lines threw me for a sec, I thought they looked like action lines until I found their source
Love all the texturing and details, especially the vines on the building and the shadow of the leaves.

Wait... I noticed something's strange. If I look at the building, the point of view should be rather (I can't find the word) Not straight but look at the sign. It looks clearly straight. That's what make it looks weird (for me anyways) But you really amazing at backgrounds!^^
