Description
*died from all details*It's actually our first assignment from Environments, Props, and Structures class which I'm taking right now (because my works always lack of backgrounds...=__=" so it might be good if this class at least can bump my skills up a little...). After got it back, I played around with tones and stuffs and added a character in there (that's Louise! I haven't drawn him in ages though!)
Our professor took us wandering around downtown in Savannah, taking a bunch of references. And yes, some of SCADDY might recognize, but if not, this is a scene based off Jones Street.
D: The environment and props are based on actual references, but I redrew all of them by my own (and I won't tell you where I made mistakes on my perspective...lol, 'coz I'm lameeeee)
Done by 4B mechanical pencil, and adjusted it darker in Photoshop.

God bless you battling all the freaking tourists this season trying to get a reasonable reference, especially on Jones.
Your rendering of perspective is excellent and I really 'enjoy' the communication of the stoop to the format. lol

awesome! owo You do great backgrounds, especially for someone who isn't used to them Xd
I could never pull off something like this. Hell, I can't even draw something obvious, like a forest or something, lol.

I can see where your perspective is a bit off, but not much. You left a few of your lines from your vanishing point though. lol Perspective can be evil. Love the detail and tones.

Because it always takes freaking amount of time to do for a proper background drawing T[]T" *sob*
But it's fun though! I think if I have more time, I'll definitely work on it more!

Very nice! I love how you did the leaves, especially the ones on the left side and around the bottom of the railing. A
fo' sho'.
And the perspective's not off. You just happened to tilt your head while drawing it... Eh, I tried.

I love it. The perspective is off a little off, but I love the details on the door. The greenery is 'beyond' mag, along with the pipe. But the tree texture is almost there, but not yet. I am uber impressed with the walk way. It is so hard to draw them yet keep them right. Honestly the work so so fab that I could do with out Louise, smexy or not. But altogether a wonderful piece with amazing attention to detail.
Keep up the good work, and good luck in our classes

That is amazing.
I love the foliage attached to the house.
Is the angle of inclination of the building intentional, or did you simply scan it like that accidentally.
All in all - love it. This really inspires me to practice architectural sketching and whatnot. I need to learn how to draw EVERYTHING except humans... lol
