Wicket is still SUPER new, so everything ia still kind of scary. He is wide awake whenever I walk past him. We have several Barres Owls around the ranch, but I have only seen one once, when my bird tried to catch it

He is assumed to be about 8 or 10 months old. He was found stuck in a barbed wire fence. His one wing is a little messed up, causing him to not be able to fly very well.Β

Wow. Poor Wicket. That's like the kestrel my mom once rehabilitated when she was young. She broke her beak and mom kept her until she regrew the tip so that she could hunt again.
