We grouped together, all of us who remained of this planet. There was only a splotch for food left for us but even then, they are rapidly disappearing. Amethysts cornered us and was about to kill us when light flickered and then a screen appeared. The Amethysts looked back and did that salute, expecting a diamond but what they saw was a organic boy. He explained everything and then the camera moved up to White diamond, blushing. The Amethysts gasped. One of them turned around confused and serious, she paused for a moment like she didn’t want to. But it was an order. “Your free. There’s some new laws where we can’t kill anymore planets.” She sighed. We all stared at each other. Somebody finally got the courage and said “Well! Why didn’t the law change like, maybe one thousand years ago!? You do know we don’t have enough food to sustain us anymore!”

No no, the planet was suppose to be a 98% finished colony. They couldn’t wait for the natives to die of themselves so some amethysts were ordered to eliminate the remaining organics.

Well, what if you were building something but some ants were on the remaining land you need to finish off. Wouldn’t you just kill them instead of letting them die of hunger?
