Here's a Robotech Fan art..This is my favorite 80's cartoon series so far..
I like the way it ends, started a long time ago, but because of the WoldCup I leave it for a while..
Hope you guys like it..

In Cartoons, NOT in ANIME! They had Roy get shot at/hit(for like the millionth time) and then bleed out, only to pass out in front of his girl friend, dead. Then again Gundam Wing has Plot Armor for all gundam Pilots(I mean any other time you sneeze at the Leo MS, they blow up, but a gundam Pilot in one and it can have both arms blown off and survive a direct hit to the cockpit).
Then again in Gurren Lagann, Kamina the most likely guy to be the hero/be there till the end dies in episode #8(!), even after surviving two hits that would have destroyed him otherwise, he even did a 'special move' before dieing.
...
Anime can be either Loony Toons, or realistic to an almost over real fault.

Well, you're right, and actually I was remembering the Evangelion series and damn! lots of gore in there..
So.. yeah.. he can be hit by some alien cross fire haha..
I haven't see the Gurren Lagann cartoon, I will look for it..

Kamina bites it in "Later Buddy". Gurren Lagann is notable for having the largest(so far if not ever) mecha EVER, that being one the size of a Galaxy ! It makes the SDF-1 look like ant in comparison.
