It's ok.. I know the title is genius. No need to tell me.My little brother's school put on a production of Oliver! which I saw last Saturday, and, in honour of the fact it was the first time I'd ever seen any version of Oliver Twist, I made this silly & quick picture 8D
So.. prior to Saturday.. I was making jokes without ever having seen or read it. Very bad behaviour, indeed.
But I feel quite informed about the story now. As "my little brother's school" is a private, uppity, North-Shore-Sydney school.. it put on a formidably impressive production. My little brother's only eleven, and they had him doing rehearsals till 10pm some nights, even though he and the other little workhouse boys were only stage for one song. Poor child was exhausted >_>

They originally spoke French, yes? And then the Embassy came through their world (I'd go into that in more detail but it would make your brain bleed) .. and as the Embassy is very European, they were like: "You guys should learn English." But seeing as the Embassy had opened them up to knowing about other worlds, the Triple T peeps were like "EVERYONE LOVES IN ENGLISH IN THE FOURTH WORLD AND WE LIKE THAT WORLD SO HELL YES WE'LL LEARN IT" Only they said this in French, of course. ... AND SO.. as they learned English they were influenced by both the Embassy and America being the most influental country in the fourth world..
so they're accents are, like, half American half British (although the higher-class you are.. the more proper you sound.. as in more British). I've always referred to it as "the neutral accent".. it's the kind Kenneth Branagh used in Valkyrie.. lol
Obviously, Enuin's have French accents. And Farrere would have an inflection on French words even if he was speaking English (except he pronounces his name the non-French way.. because he is correct in thinking the proper pronounciation of his name sounds epically stupid) So basically his voice is sex.
And although I can't really tell you why because it relates to a pretty major twist I'll probably spoil soon anyway.. Cynimpials have almost Italian sounding accents to their English. As in, the Cynimpials living out in reserves.
Iggy has it a bit.. in a way that, inexplicably, makes him sound Australian. IDK. He's always been Australian in my head, I'll find some way to justify it.. (lower class accent lol).

For the most part I worked backstage on school productions, so I've had my fair share of long hours. We'd be there all day on weekends making sets and crap... and we were never acknowledged xD
