Commission for !So glad to have her done! The tail was really easy, (Sketched out once, tested, and a success!) but the bangs proved to be an issue. Not so much because they're a complicated shape, but because I was having serious trouble deciding whether flat or 3d bangs would be best for her. In the end, I decided that these bangs looked good from 2 angles and didn't look bad from the front, as opposed to flat bangs which looked good from one angle, okay from the front, and kind of odd from the alternate side. I'm doing great! I finally found a place that sells fur! I ordered a bunch of samples and I'm so eager for them to come so I can see if they work for a suit. So yeah, I've been pretty dang hyper about that for the last two days. I want to do something new sooooo bad!

I'm super busy with commissions but even more busy with school and work! I managed to get all of my classes to Tuesday/Thursday, so I work Saturdays, work on commissions Sundays and Mondays, go to school Tuesdays, go to work Wednesdays, go to school Thursdays, work on commissions Fridays, wash, rinse, repeat. When I feel like I'm about to go insane, I take a break and work on sculptures. I'm nearly done with Lumiere!
Congrats on finding fur! My big accomplishment last week was actually getting paid to get Sculpey from Joann's

Ah. School. I don't even like to talk about school... but of course it drives me crazy as well and keeps me busy. I absolutely hate it, but it's necessary because I do need to get my bachelors degree.
I'm still totally giddy over the fur! I've seriously been bouncing around with glee. It's just that I've been looking for sooooo long and it took forever to actually find fur that 'looks' like it's going to be right. Ironically, I found the fur on ebay. I just wish I would have looked there first.
Oh and recently my sewing machine BROKE. Right in the middle of sewing it stop working. I freaked out. I called the company and sent the machine in since it's still under warranty, but since I couldn't stand to wait for it to come back (it's still at the shop) I bought another machine. So... now I'll have two machines. O.o;

What? Haha what are you gonna use 2 machines for? And you know that for a year you still have the ability to just take it to your closest brother authorized dealer and have them fix it for free, right? Or did you mean that's what you did? (It sounds like you shipped it to headquarters?)
I'm okay with school...I mean, this semester won't be terribly easy, but it's better than staying home all day, as far as I'm concerned.

D= sadly there was NO authorized brother dealer in the area! The nearest one was like 120 miles away! T___T So I was forced to ship it to headquarters. I am still waiting for the dang thing to come back but they told me it would take like 2 weeks so I caved and bought another machine. I had just taken on more commissions and I couldn't wait 2 weeks for them to send it back.
Now... two machines? What will I do with them? I have no clue... maybe I can embroider designs in half the time! Lol! Seriously I have no dang clue what I'm going to do with it. I suppose I'll make use of it though. If one breaks on me again I'll always have a back up.

Well I guess that way you can be sewing on one while you embroider on the other or embroider for two ponies at once... it just doesn't seem like it would be terribly useful if you didn't already have it, but I guess since you do now, you could potentially double your efficiency! haha

hahaha I'll be a efficiency sewing woman now. lol. I'd never had bought another machine unless I had to though. I didn't really want to spend another 350.00 on a machine but meh, couldn't possibly wait.

She looks cute! I know what you mean. I had a hard time deciding what to do for My Derpy's bangs too. I went with the flat ones because I really liked how they looked from the front, but these ones look great for the side!
