Description
This is the Thousand Island Lake outlet. Initiating my way back from Thousand Island Lake, I turned my back on the lake with blue skies and a few white clouds and looked right into this. I still had to walk about 15 km back to my car and I was thinking "please storm, go somewhere else". I met a lot of hikers going in the opposite direction on my way back who wished me good luck. I ended up getting caught in a 2 hour hailstorm. It wasn't too bad because the scenery during the storm was amazing but I was glad when I finally reached my car.
