Grarrls, Jetsams and Skeiths will eat anything, I believe. And never leave them hungry. They'll eat it out of your inventory if you're not careful. I went to my quick reference page one day and there was an event say that Gergon got hungry and ate a petpet in my inventory. Granted it was cheap, like an abominable snowball or something, but yeah. They do it.
