Woolkit was born in a litter of two, so he had a sister named Creekkit. His father's name Koipelt and his mother Softwhisker, and they weren't happy with how their son took after koi's grandfather. So they had him eat after his whole family. Woolkit use to hate not eating with his family, but he always tried to have them forgive him by giving them flowers, but Softwhisker always told him to go play with the moss or go find a fox. Woolkit felt like his family loved Creekkit and even had her renamed as gracekit. He hoped that they would love him as an apprentice.

Woolpaw was soon made an apprentice and he was appointed to a Tom named Rippleclaw. One day after training, Gracepaw thought that leaving camp would be great and to get prey. Soon they found prey but a fox had found them. Gracepaw freaked out and ran away, leaving her brother to fight. He had to fight, or he would be in trouble, so he did... They had found him the next day with by dawn patrol. The tom his nearly lifeless body to camp and he was forced to be renamed scarpaw. But they soon realized that he might not live, so he was named Scarpool.

He wasn't strong to be able to heal till a moon. As he was in the medicine cat den, he heard that Graceblossom wasn't blamed and thought it wad his idea. He wanted to say no it wasn't. But they believed grace. When he was 15 moons he could leave camp and go around. One day leaving camp, he met bearheart and he joined mistclan, the clan where he belonged. When he heard that miststar died. He felt bad, because if miststar never made his clan, Scarpool would had probably had been left to die.
