Name: Sumai

Special Abilities:
The control and creation of fire. He is able to call forth fire at will and use it as he wishes, but he can also put out fire. This is Sumai’s main ability and the one he uses the most. He cannot breathe fire.

Fireproof. Fire or burning forces can't harm him.

Speed. Sumai outruns a cheetah easily.

Personality:
Old, grumpy, battered by war. Has no time for nonsense. Extremely loyal, would go through hell for those he cares about.

History:
Born into a pride with a long history of war, there really was only one thing Sumai was ever supposed to be. He started training to become a soldier early. He had a wise, caring father, whom Sumai idolised, but who sadly died on the battlefield before Sumai was barely out of cubhood. When Sumai was a young adult, the king was ousted by a rebel pridemember and his followers. The old king was exiled and a reign of terror under their new leader began. Sumai, loyal to his former leader, rallied his allies to fight for their freedom and to defeat the usurper. They succeed and the old king was returned to his throne. As a reward Sumai was given a high warrior rank, and this marked the true beginning of his military career. He quickly climbed the ranks and soon became a very respected officer. In his old age, Sumai was second only to the king.
