GOD GET IT RIGHT Silversouldragon21!! Ten-shinhan is his real name (that is in the mangas and jap anime) that Akira Toriyama gave him and Tien-Shinhan is his Redub name for the UK and US.....

But did you ever notice how yamcha saves the lives of his friends more than once? Yamcha takes pride of being one of earth's protectors. I mean krillin saved the lives of his friends but not all the time, yamcha really likes to save his friends more than once.

I haven't watch DB but I have watch DBZ and in my eyes Yamcha is totally useless in them. All what he can do is to whine how powerful the enemy is and how they are going to die. Of course this is just my opinion / how I see it. If other peoples sees it in different light, no problem at all with it. After all, we all have our own opinions

Thanks for the link. Though, I can honestly say that I'm not going to read it. I don't want to have anything to do with Yamcha because I honestly can't stand him at all.
Oh, then I must see him whining more than enough :'D But if he's doubting his own strength, it's only a sign of bad self-trust and if he can't trust on his friends as well... That's bad (in my opinion).

Yep. Besides my guess after he retired from fighting since he's seen too many deaths and that may altered him a bit with doubting his ability of how strong he his even his friends ability.
