You're welcome. That motion blur really adds a lot to the whole picture.

Fun fact! At first I actually though of adding them as leaves that go more or less up front, but because they were small, they actually kind of looked like birds, so it left that impression to me (and apparently to you as well). : D
Thanks.

Well, if you look at the progress GIF that I linked, that already should give you some insight into how I get a result like this. The important thing is to not go into detail straight away, and start rough. Just paint in a quick thumbnail where the values read. And like I did, I didn't go straight into multiple colors, but instead used just one color and then added some different shades with layer effects.
Also, the brushes that I provided you with, they don't do well with small scale. In what resolution do you work with? I did the sketch/thumbnail for this one in 1200 width, and then upped it to 2400 when I started to detail. Most of my paintings actually are 2400 wide. Landscape paintings, that is.
It's just a bit of cleaning up after you have some shapes in. Like, I like to add in a lot of fog to make things seem distant (and that also saves me from unnecessary detailing, and it still reads). But on the technical side, I think I used the brush meant for architecture and the chalk brush to block in these silhouettes. I also had opacity and flow set to pen pressure, because that helps with achieving some sort of texture to the mountains.
I hope this answers something, somehow.
