I'd say just something "quick" but that would be lying. It was planned to be something quick but alas...my wrist hurts so no more rendering that pic x,D
Originally I had it a bit more defined in my head but tbh I'm too tired to figure it out how and I actually don't want to spend more time on it. Despite everything I still like it, especially his face and neck. God, I love me a thicc neck atm.
I made this with his original colors but desaturated it in the end because I feel like it looks pretty neat like this.

Well, that small dragon surely won't be hurt be someone else. XD Such a cool idea for a drawing, with Red being protective, is awesome and heartwarming, and his intimidating face, I love it, he really looks dangerous, and this frontal persective is perfect, it really looks like he's looking at the viewer. The pose is really good too, having his body lowered and his wings shielding the little guy.
BTW That thick neck is a win.
