Biography:
Sam Manson is one of the main characters of the series. She is portrayed as an rebellious, delinquent, violent, outgoing, brave, protective, and aggressive individual who likes to cause some trouble without ever getting caught and standing up with what's right for herself. Sam is shown to be a fifteen year old girl and a sophomore student at Casper High School who seems to have a secretive life outside of the public while still being present. Her favorite interests are wearing some grunge punk style outfits from the nineties, watching movies including science fiction or horror, listening to metal music, and smoking marijuana for a living. Sam only has one relative in her family which is her grandmother who are both Israeli immigrants that were involved with The Black Circle, a religious cult that is responsible in practicing witchcraft and allowing transcendence to reach a point into another world known as The Void. Sam's grandmother told her stories of the cult where her late husband was the cult leader and the members once reached a transcendent into the Void to develop abilities and what lies beyond that dimension. It's members and Sam's grandfather were later capture and executed for their beliefs. Sam was given a book that contains memoirs and records of The Black Circle, including spells. One particular spell she had in mind was acquiring a sixth sense that allows her to change her eyes to see the demons and monsters lurking around the town. Sam show some mixed emotions toward the people of Amity Park, signifying thery aren't as perfect or innocent as they claim to be as these were the very people that killed her grandfather. Nevertheless, she teams up with another outcast Danny Fenton in investigating the spirits roaming around the town and The Void.
