I glimpsed at this film in the original subbed version and enjoyed it, it was wacky/funny in a good way and the animation was actually top notch. It also has got me interested in Slayers (which I think was one of the few good Central Park Media anime), plus one good thing I know of is being a prequel, I should be able to watch it without having to have seen the series. Still can't get over Naga's laugh though.

Yeah, I am a fan of Slayers. More of the show than the movie. I watched a chunk of Slayers on the Sci Fi Channel a long way back. Still something I find interesting. I wonder ifΒ it will get a reboot. I lost touch of theΒ franchise long time ago.

It might get a reboot hopefully, I mean, Cardcaptor Sakura has already got a new sequel out...
And if I'm correct, isn't the dub also one of the few good English dubs out there?
