your photos come up with this...LOOK...the colours, the shading... i don't know how to describe it, but i just went to Wemyss and there was a building there with the same textures... so maybe the paintwork where you live just looks like that!

You've chosen a great location for this, I really like photos that are made in old buildings. You start wondering what the yellow person is doing in that house.. maybe she lives there or something.. I also like it that she's staring at the wall, maybe there's something interesting on the wall we can't see
