Description Red petals on a black and white Gaussian Integer minimum distance background.

Compare with Mauve Petals:

Created using mars and expanded using phobos both of which are C++ programs I've implemented using Gtkmm on Linux.

===================================
Parameters

Formula: Zazbcgd

z <- (z^alpha + (z^beta)*(c^gamma))^delta

alpha = 1
beta = -1
gamma = 2
delta = -2
initial z is set to the location in the complex plane

Bailout: 16
Max iterations: 400
Image centre: 0.000798773 - 0.000457844i
Long side: 0.683849

Colouring

Although the formula isn't a biomorph outer colouring is selected independently of the bailout.

Outer selection: (abs(real(z)) > 4) and (abs(imag(z)) > 4)
Outer colouring: final magnitude, the greater of abs(real(z)) and abs(imag(z))
Inner colouring: gaussian integer (round), minimum distance

Thank you, it's one of my favourites. Most of the time I surprised by which works are popular and which are not, some of my works which I feel are my best are mysteriously neglected.
