WoW...this is exactly like in that book 'War of the Worlds' (by H. G. Wells) when the Martians' red plants (as opposed to green like Earth plants - the author was playing with our sense of colour) spread all over the landscape. Great image for a great book

Thanks to you red just became my favourite colour I love the simplicity of the shot - I can sit back and enjoy the colours, patterns etc without having to think too hard or lose time by 'looking into the photo'. I love the contrast between the textures of the two different organic surfaces - from the harsh lines of the wood to the smooth veined surface of the ivy leaves. This shot is fantastic!

Great composition. Did you desaturate the wood with PS? I only ask because there is a nail that judging by the wood , would be rusty and it's not. The colors are very nice and the way the leaves frame the wood is cool. Keep them coming!
