Description I’ve also been playing around with Aruyn’s markings (and his species in general) because I’ve never been that happy with them. I’m still not 100%, but I feel I’m getting closer.

Auryn is the middle one, the two below him are some common variations, the two above are more extreme variations. The white one is most likely from the higher mountains, where there tends to be a lot of snow, the darker one, lower down in denser forest. Opars are usually red, and have no black points.

I love them all! I think the first is nice as is ^_^ Though, the intense reddish of the last without the super white spots (like the one previous) might look great too.

It would! I was experimenting more with what extreames I am willing this species to have I think, but that would be a good option for one of the charaters. I should post a similar one to this with the actual characters though, because their markings vary a lot more. Thanks for the input!

He's one of my favs too, I think it's that chocolately tinge to those spots that does it. Gotta find a way to add him to the comic!

Thanks! I love the red ones, they were inspired by my ginger tom actually, and it made me think how few characters are genetically red.
