"...I'll Protect You!"

Wow, I just realized that this is my first Legend of Zelda fan art. And this is my very first time drawing any characters from the Zelda series.

I used the "Skyward Sword" designs because those designs are my favorite, especially Zelda's Skyloft outfit. Ever since I've gotten the costume on "Hyrule Warriors", I just love playing Zelda in her Skyward Sword outfit. I don't know, she just looks like she's ready for adventure in this one.

I know Ghirahim doesn't look too good, but I don't really care. Truth be told, I don't like Ghirahim...at all. He's just a big creeper to me.

As for the scene itself, I just had this idea of Zelda protecting Link. He's always protecting her, now she's returning the favor. I know this doesn't happen in Skyward Sword, but I thought it would be cool if it did.

The picture itself was actually a practice run with a new art program I got, Manga Studio Debut 4. It works a lot like Photoshop, but I had to get used to a few things. I will say that it has great speech bubbles, which is something I really need for my comics.

I still have a few more things to learn, but I think I've got a good grip on it so far.
