Same drawing as [link] but I added a background which took FOREVER!Update: I actually scanned the drawing so the lines are straighter, and I also changed the contrast a bit to help it stand out more. Let me know what you think

OMG, that drawing must have taken forever to do! You put so much detail into everything! O_o That's so amazing . . . None of my stuff is as detailed as that!

lol I just have a hellllluva lot of patience...both drawings took me about 12 hours over a span of 2 or 3 days to finish.

My drawings don't take that long to do but, then again, I'm a fast worker. I don't rush on purpose -- it's just how I am. Like, at school, when we had in-class assignments, I'd get my work done early so I had time to chill out in class. But, again, I did not rush myself. I just work quickly, that's all, while still doing my best.

I used to do that too, but I found my work wasn't nearly as good as when I would take my time, nitpicking on certain things...If you look through my gallery, I have a drawing of Jack Sparrow that I probably finished in 2 hours. The very next day I tried a new Jack Sparrow drawing and I took so much more time on it......it looks like two different people drew it. That's when I decided I would take more time on my drawings. I bet if you tried it on one of your next drawings, you would find that it came out just as good as the stuff the other artists you admire do.

But, the thing is, I'm not rushing myself and I am doing as much detail as I can do. Like, those colored pencil drawings I did that were from the screenshots, and those charcoal drawings. I think they look great, and yet they only took 2 hours each. Everyone's different, I know that. And I know that if a picture needs to take a few days to be finished, then it will be.
