Description
This tutorial is for Macromedia Flash MX.A very basic way of making objects follow the mouse pointer.
The script should be fairly easy to edit.
If anything is unclear, feel free to message me and I'll try to help out.
(btw, I usually don't write tutorials so tips about what could be improved is greatly apprechiated)

the ball is being a jerk to me, i did exactly as your tutorial said, only it does follow my mouse for a second, then it goes diagonally... i move the mouse up, ball goes diagonal left up, i move mouse down, ball goes diagonal right down
help please?

I just need it in regular text version, because I saw the thing once, but didn't have flash open, so I refreshed the page when I got flash up, the tutorial skipped to the last thing with the mouse.

Thanks for the tutorial! It seems pretty straightforward and after I did it - it did work but can you answer a couple questions?
1) Why do you need two frames on the actions layer? I tried it with just one but it didn't work. What does that second frame do?
2) You didn't say to but I added a second frame to the ball layer as well. Without that second frame it just flashed. However it still moves kinda jerky whereas your example seems to follow the mouse really smoothly. Any hidden secrets there?
