"... for their next mission."I'd like to thank because her recent sketches of Sonic inspired me to do this (and bloody hell she's a talented cartoonist!).
This is yet another colouring exercise, I wanted to try a speed-run colouring method. This still took me some time but it was fun playing around with the colour values, hue/saturation levels and brightness and contrast levels.
This took me probably 1/3 of the third to complete as compared to my deviation of BOLT (the Disney 3D film).
I had the sketch in mind at work so I decided to test out how much faster I can clock it, complete with colours, on Adobe Photoshop. Probably 4 hours in total to get this baby complete. It's one for the Sonic Universe and Team Dark fans!

I forgot to add what an awesome work it is! way to Elson! Omega's way in standing is somehow a MYSTERY. the coloring magnificent and the poses are cool.

Shadow's way to look far away... it's a way her describe somehow he is bothered of this mission, why? I don't know, I'm afraid he kick me up if I ask!
this the clothes number 9 or 10 of Rouge right? I think Rouge is the most character that switches her clothes in Sonic games... ( I don't know about Sonic Universe)
Omega's legs are strange a bit... is it like this in Sonic Universe? that's a modern kind of legs in Eggman's creating Robots History!
BTW, I'll be happy if someone introduce me a site to read Sonic Universe.

I can't believe I never commented on this. This is pretty cool! The poses look boss, and your style is interesting, though the lighting in a couple of places (such as the light above Rouge, compared to the one to the left) seems a bit sketchy to me. Still very good art!

Speed paint is fun *w* Loving their poses! I can imagine them jumping off the plain, all cool without para-shoots, above this huge city and Shadow having a metal board and the music starts to play in the background and... oh... wait... *shot* (XD JK)

wow this is amazing!I always admired the details on the background you always put in your drawings, and I don't have the patient to do that, cause I'm simply lazy(^^'), and specially the color part, wow....
And this picture gives a real good felling that something will begin(somehow reminds me of metal gear XD), and that they're ready to act. And I love the atmosphere in this, it gives this typical view on how the soldiers are ready to fight, and I always thought this is how the "team Dark" operate as a team,specially the way the are portrayed in archie series. I like the way you portrayed Shadow, he seems as a very "unknown" character as usual,and have this very serious look with hands folded together,like he's in his own mind, while Rouge and Omega looks in different direction outside. It's like they all are in the same team, but at the same time they're not, because they all three have different intentions and stuff(now I'm just carefully analyzing in some way XD)
You always seem to pick the right colors everytime, and nice touch with the green carpet on Shadow(which comes to my mind, from when did this green carpet thing started to be so "fashioned" to Shadow, I always wondered XD...)
I'm really thrilled and happy to read that my recent work inspired you, and I also want to remind you how much you have been inspiring me since from your old account, and I still try to learn and see the way you draw.
Please continue with your awesome work, and I hope as many people gets the benefits from your work as I do

Yeah man, that was also the intent - to I wanted to portray elements of a MGS scene, it fits the mood for Team Dark.
Thanks for the feedback! And I reckon you're doing fine with backgrounds! The more you draw it the better you'll get with perspective, play around with landscapes and architecture, check out some photo references for inspiration and you'll be surprised by the results.
I will do my best to continue to inspire! That's what I'm here for on deviantart, and may you continue to do the same too!

Wow, this is pretty amazing.
The only thing that bothers me, though, is Omega's legs.
Were they like that in Sonic Universe? I guess I might have to go look again, hm.
Still, even for a color exercise, its pretty great.
The color stands out way more than the lineart itself, but that adds to the scene.
I love how Omega is standing there in the shadows. Makes it more mysterious.

Just like Tails would say in Sonic Riders: "Customised it myself!"
So yeah I played around with Omega and redesigned his legs and gave him a booster too. ^^ Thanks for the feedback on the colours! It worked out pretty well I reckon. = )
