Description
      Gale sat in the corner of a Nook room. Since Gale is still thankful to Alma for caring for him, he decided to help out around the place.

Luckily his mother allowed this, though she'd be here soon to pick him up. The Nook was always filled with... Interesting things to say the

least. Alma was so busy caring for wynglings, especially since the plague broke out, that she wasn't able to tend to things like sweeping.

He did meet a few nice wynglings who tried to talk to him, but he ended up slipping away unnoticed. Gale had always been quite an

introvert, after all. He swept quietly, humming to himself out of boredom. Flicking his ear, Gale sighed and set away the cleaning tool.

"Thank you, Gale." Alma appeared, smiling warmly. "To thank you, I've gotten you a treat." She held out a tasty looking dessert, a

chocolate chip cookie. Gale widened his eyes and beamed with happiness. "Thank you so much, Alma!" He took it and nibbled it slowly,

enjoying the burst of flavor. Alma made the best cookies. The motherly biped smiled and walked away as some wynglings called for her. It

seemed Gale was alone in this room, not that he was bothered by it. He tried his best not to drop any crumbs on the freshly cleaned floor.

      However, something caught his attention. Gale looked up, seeing a green wyngling. They had scary teeth... Gale jumped, a little

startled.

He scratched his head nervously and smiled. "S-sorry," Gale blinked, waiting for the wyngling to respond. "Give me that." They pointed to

the cookie. Gale tilted his head. His cookie they meant? But... he had earned that himself. Why should he give it over? Those teeth seem

awfully sharp, however... Gale furrowed his brows. "I'm sorry b-but... I got this myself. I can maybe ask for another on-" The wyngling

suddenly yelled, making Gale cower, "I wasn't asking!" The cookie was mercilessly snatched from Gale's claw. Gale hid his face, too scared

to look up. However, his mind was filled with thoughts. This isn't fair... Gale was tired. He was tired of being so low compared to other

wynglings. He wanted to be strong for a change. Yet he was too scared to do anything... It angered him so much. Yet it seemed Gale's

body didn't quite care if he was scared of not. He snatched the cookie back, tearing it away from the green wyngling and close to himself.

      The wyngling seemed a bit shocked, turning in anger. "N-No! It's mine." Gale stuttered, backing away. The wyngling propelled

themself at

Gale, their weight crushing the boy. Gale, in fear of being crushed, bat the wyngling on the face. Growling, the toothy wyngling bit his arm,

making Gale yelp in pain. He grunted, grabbing the wyngling's arm with his tail. With much force, Gale kicked the wyngling in the side. His

adrenaline rushed, making his mind blank. He didn't care if he'd regret this, or how his arm hurt. He only wanted to show that he too could

be strong. He was done with being pushed around. Gale wanted to be like the others, popular and strong. No wyngling messed with

them... Gale stopped, backing away. He saw that he'd bruised the wyngling, yet more damage was done to him. "Ngh..." Gale touched his

bitten arm. He turned, retreating from the room before someone came. He ran down the stairs and hid away. Now that he was able to

think, he realized he'd be punished by his mother for fighting. He didn't want to be yelled at. He wiped his teary eyes, hoping no one would find him.

Gale tries to be strong boyo ; o ; This story underwent so many revamps, omg. I settled on using Harley for a bully. I also tried perspective but??? It failed??? idk. His wounds are not too deep, I may have drawn them worse than what they should be, but oh well.
