Description I've heard that it is necessary for creative people to create something every day.  I'm going to try and do that. So here is a quicky for today.  I won't be posting something every day, but I am going to try and at least create something.

Also, the message is something very dear to my heart.

What does "Redeemer" mean you ask? www.gotquestions.org/redemptio…

I personally do not see anything that could be added to this piece other then a different angle on the camera, and maybe a cross to signify Christianity for the people who are not to familiar with Christianity. This is truly a magnificent piece of art and sends a great message about Jesus Christ and Christianity as a whole. The different use of colors brighten up the letters, the paint, the colored pencils, and the pens. You are truly a great artist and are bound for a career if you do not already have one in this field.

I love it!

You have done an excellent job with this work. I love the symbolism in this. The red color of the painting inside this image (whether you meant for this to be or not) represents the blood that Jesus shed to become our redeemer. Without the blood, without the ink, he wouldn't be our redeemer, and we would see a blank canvas here.
The very white and plain base on the canvas could mean lots of things. What I saw was this: just as Jesus is pure, he has made us pure, so that we are so clean, though his blood, we are pure in God's sight.
I also love the overall idea of taking creative and unique photos of actual art itself. Sure you could have just taken a picture of the work itself with nothing around it, but I'm happy you didn't.
The surrounding atmosphere suggest diligence and determination (ie, a perfectionist's tool: the compass). Everything is neat and orderly, which suggests calm, collectedness, and control when creating these works of art. There is no chaos or anger (well, at least what is shown) in creating.
The warm tones of the central image mix well with the warm-cool gradient of the table (bottom to top). The green accent near the upper-right corner draws us to look not only at the central image, but also at its surroundings.
As far as the photographing goes, the setup was amazing. You did have the center of focus smack dab in the middle of the work, which usually doesn't work. It seemed alright in this work, however, since it is skewed and rotated. 2 of the 4 corners hit the 1/3rds very well. I enjoyed the variation here.

There are a couple of things that I am not totally sold on. The accent of a very light background of orange-red behind the text is one of them. I see what you are trying to do here, but I feel like it either needs to be a little larger or something else changed with it.
I'm also not totally sold on the field of vision in the photograph. The yellow paint in the bottom right is blurred, but the blue-white mix (nice touch) is pretty visible. Since you skewed the painting, standard field of view won't work. Skewed field of view is hard to get, so I would almost set field of view lower so the blue paint is blurred a bit more, or set it high enough that the blur is not visible. It does add a special effect, but since you already have objects coming off the the page and there isn't a whole lot of surrounding area around the painting, maybe remove the blur if you want to have some focus on the edges, or increase the blur if you want the focus on the work inside the work.
Overall, you did really great on this. Physically, I can't do better, but there is always room for improvement. I look forward to more works from you!

Yea, I think that photo could totally sell as stock. Maybe your training under the ninja photographer has paid off.

I think samurais carry tablets these days. The bigger the better.
