Spent another morning in a sparse field of sunflowers capturing birds. Everyday people who are out exercising ask me why I spend so much time in the sunflowers. If they only knew.Related content

There are times I wish I can get closer to them. They are so very skitterish. They feed in a small sunflower patch at a local park.

Thank you so very much. It is a great place to be in the early morning when the temps are down, by about 8:30 am the heat becomes a tad unbearable. I am counting down the days to late Oct when the temps will not be in the high 80's early in the morning and the humidity won't be as bad. I will be able to venture out for longer periods of time, instead of just an hour or so like I do now.
